Early Goals See United Fall to Defeat

6 months ago By Dean Allchin

A poor opening ten minutes has seen Eastbourne United AFC fall to a 3-0 defeat at AFC Uckfield Town

The game could not have started any worse for United as they found themselves behind after just 48 seconds as Tom Bold's speculative effort appeared to be heading wide, but cannoned off Scott Taylor to give the home side the lead.
A second followed five minutes later as former United man Bailo Camara headed a corner goalwards, with Bold managing to stab the ball past Phil Hawkins.
United grew into the game, but failed to test Harris in the home goal and were punished in the second half as Taylor struck his second of the game to complete a miserable night for Tobi Hutchinson's side
