Season Ends In Defeat at Loxwood

4 months ago By Dean Allchin

Eastbourne United AFC fell to a 1-0 defeat at Loxwood to complete the 2016/17 league season

A largely uneventful game saw only one real major talking point as United were reduced to ten men before half time as Harry Ducatel was shown a straight red card.
The games only goal came 10 minutes from time as Alfie Gritt struck for the home side.
The result sees United drop to 7th in the SCFL Premier Division, their highest league finish since the 2010/11 season
