Stags Profit From Wasteful United

Eastbourne United AFC let a two goal lead slip as Midhurst & Easebourne avenged their Sussex Senior Cup defeat at The Oval with a 3-2 victory.

United started strongly and led 2-0 through Liam Baitup and Pete Cooper, but a strike from Gary Norgate gave Midhurst hope a minute before half-time.
The second half saw further goals from Lewis Hamilton and Matt Collino as The Stags condemned EUAFC to a fourth league defeat of the season.

Despite the result, United still maintain third place in SCFL Division Two, 12 points and 4 games behind leaders Newhaven
