8 months ago By Dean Allchin

It was an afternoon to forget as Eastbourne United AFC were beaten 5-0 by SCFL Premier Division leaders Shoreham

United welcomed back the experience of Luke Denton and Danny Andrews along with new signing Adebola Sotoyinbo, but missing Peter Cooper and Liam Baitup from midweek while Matt Cunnington dropped to the bench.
United found themselves behind after 35 minutes as Luke Donaldson capitalised on a stray pass in midfield to slot past Phil Hawkins, before the lead was doubled in time added on at the end of the first half through Kieran Pamment.
Donaldson struck again ten minutes into the second half before Rob O'Toole struck the home sides fourth of the afternoon.
A miserable afternoon was completed in the 89th minute as substitute Scott Packer rolled home number five and send United home well beaten
