The 21's beat Little Common 3-2 with a stoppage time winner from Ijezie.
United found themselves 2 up at half time, with an early opener from Ijezie after good work in midfield by Akanbi, and a long range strike of the highest quality from Mbiya Kalambayi. The lead was thoroughly deserved and Jenkins in goal had nothing to do apart from collect a few long balls forward and retain possession at the back.
The second half wasn't as straight forward as United let a 2 goal lead slip after two long through balls had Common in 1 v 1 twice in the second half much to the frustration of the United players as they both appeared to be close calls for offside, but no flag was coming.
The frustration boiled over, but most of it was with themselves as they had complete control of the game. However they woke back up after the second goal and Ijezie bundled the ball over the line to collect the 3 points.
A good win against a Little Common side who have made a fantastic start to their season, but should have been more straight forward than it was.
Next up Seaford Town at home on Monday
